Youโre in New York: run to whatever cool new food place youโve been looking to try. Run the distance, eat something delicious, then take transit home. Increasingly you can increase your one-way distance knowing that thereโs a reward at the end and an easy way home not on your two feet.
Also just doable as motivation to explore a certain neighborhood (could even make it more fun by taking transit to a new place and then running). As the summer months approach, though, my favorite type of run is one that ends in ice cream/a smoothie/some other fun thing to cool me down.
