By far the best navigation app out there. Citymapper tops Google Maps for everything—public transit, cycling, and pedestrian routes. It’s far more accurate, being powered by open source and curated data. It displays fares so you can compare costs between modes of transport, plus it highlights bike share locations and allows you to select between quiet, regular and fast cycling routes.

Makes getting around the city a hair more delightful. Google Maps is for squares.

i love to figure out where I’m going in advance and all the interesting cafes, places to see in different places + checking the distance between places! I have all these different lists saved for places to visit in different cities (yes i usually take charge of the itinerary) i like to think im really good with directions honourable mention: geoguesser 🌏

In fact they’re working against you, especially women of colour. 84% of Tinder users are men, Bumble’s earnings have gone down hugely since its IPO (thereby further increasing their need to make a profit off subscriptions), Hinge is hiding hot people behind a paywall. People are sick of getting lovebombed and ghosted. But we don’t need them—there’s more to life than apps—and people are beginning to seek connections in person again.
