i was in rough shape this morning so i took a page out of his book by smoking a joint with some spicy noodles and a coke. would recommend doing this it definitely helps soothe the hangxiety and self loathing. side note i love little plastic stools like the one in this pic so much sitting on them always makes me feel so cool idk why

I like to do all of my important tasks while riding my morning high of adderall and coffee, when I start to come down at around 2pm I have a Diet Coke to fuel my last leg of productivity, then 4pm rolls around. I’ve done all of my important work for the day and I’m ready to get creative. I take my dog for a nice little walk down my favorite street and smoke half of a joint, once I’m back at work the vibes are unleashed. I put on some sweet tunes and create gowns from curtains and tablecloths for hours. Before I know it it’s time to pop on my sheepskin coat and dance the night away in a sheer dress. When I get home nice and drunk I take a hit of my joint, sniff some Rush™️, rub one out and fall into a deep sleep surrounded by plants and fish tanks.

not simply the pleasure neurotransmitter. this clicked so hard for me when i realized that my favorite part of smoking weed every single nite was setting up my desk and tray, grinding the weed, rolling the joint, packing the joint, and lighting the joint––not the high itself. realizing that helped me to build alternative habits that had a similar rhythm to them. this is why those tiktok videos go on forever before getting to the actual point. they're sucking the dopamine from you second by second because you are anticipating the point. also important: your dopamine cravings get reset overnight meaning the morning is a great time to build good habits and the night time is when you have to either fight the hardest against bad habits OR just give into it because a lotta nites you probly deserve it :D

i had a collection of mubi notebooks. they publish them twice a year. it’s a great read if you’re interested in film. unfortunately they’re all gone now because of the eaton fire but hopefully ill be able to buy the old ones online somewhere.
