i looked into this book after seeing faye webster’s recommendation about it on here, and i decided i should read it for myself. i’ve been in a bit of a reading slump lately, but i’m happy to say that this pulled me out of it. the book is so beautifully written; it’s an interesting story with a very relatable protagonist, but there’s also so much to learn from it. i annotated it to pieces. i found myself talking about it in conversations, and it really made me reflect on some of my own thought patterns that are like cyrus’. i highly recommend it to anyone looking for their next read :).
