I grew up delivering newspaper with my parents to make ends meet. Thanksgiving was interesting because the paper was thick with Black Friday ads. I went to the dollar store yesterday and saw a Sunday paper for only $2. It was thick with Black Friday ads. FKA twigs has been on the periphery of music that I adore for many years now.. with the rollout for EUSEXUA (out January 24!) I figured itβs as good a time as any to tap in. Drums of Death has an industrial and glitchy sound to it that I canβt get enough of. Coherent lyrics are few and far between, but it makes what cuts through the perilous percussion that much more meaningfu.
