debilitatingly stiff and awkward and struggling to connect with people but doing my best. when you look at my profile you probably see a girl who has it all but really there's a large part of me that's immature and underdeveloped.
the first time i watched this show i was like wow this guy acts in the same off-putting way i do and managed to monetize it maybe there is hope
other characters i see myself in: kayla day (eighth grade), beau wassermann (beau is afraid), justine (raw), portia (the white lotus), and regrettably a little dee reynolds. i have been compared to april ludgate a lot in my life too but i've never seen parks and rec. it's happened so many times that i'm scared to watch it and learn how people perceive me

Its a satirical reality show hosted by Nathan β a partly fictional recent business graduate who comes up with the most out of pocket marketing strategies to help real business.
In one of the episodes Nathan was trying to help this home-cleaning service and he thought if 1 maid takes 2 hours to clean a house and 2 maids take 1 hour then can 40 maids clean the house in 6 minutes??

- Has some truly heart touching moments, shows real vulnerability, if you also feel like a weird awkward nerd, youβll definitely relate to the shows host.
In the later episodes Nathan also came up with schemes to become a better person (like creating a fake dating reality tv show to learn how to talk to women) and they're so profoundly absurd but beautiful I LOVE IT.

My friend and I watch SATC and High Fidelity (2020) whenever we want to feel better about our romantic (and just general life choices).
If you like the world of Gilmore Girls, Freaks and Geeks is so comfortable to sit in. The characters feel like how real high schoolers (I dated a guy in high school a lot like Nick from this show and we all have, I think). The costuming and soundtrack is great, the midwestern vibes are comforting, and the acting is surprisingly raw and realistic for being a comedy series. Martin Starr has genius comedic timing.
Dollface is kind of a hidden gem! Kat Dennings is a gemini queen and she creates a really lush and intricate imaginary world in this show.
Community is perfect for pop culture nerds- the first season is like a lot of sitcom shows in that it takes a bit for them to hit their stride and find their audience. It does not use the mockumentary style like Parks & Rec and The Office, which gives the show more permission to be weird and far-away from reality.
