So I yeeted my clock from the bathroom about two years ago, and I can state with certainty that it is mentally helpful. It's a litle mini-Vegas in there, where the only time cue is if there is sun or not in the frosted pane window. It's the one location in my home where I don't think about time. Try it.

if i look up and ask myself, “what time is it?” The last thing I want to do is have to fish out my phone from wherever it is and check the time. clocks have been disappearing from rooms and spaces at an alarming rate (no pun intended ).. I want to look at a clock on the wall!!

The faint ticking is really soothing if you can't stand complete silence when you're trying to sleep, especially if it's too cold to have a fan for background noise! Adds a bit of extra coziness too

Let’s say you have ADHD or similar and it’s helpful for you to time things but also put your phone away, this little guy is cute and portable and easy to use as a clock, timer, alarm clock, and inexplicably thermometer. I use it every day so much, my pomodoros are on fire.

I know I'm not cool. That's why I appreciate the PI community for letting me play at being cool. I feel like a hipster pollywog with a protective froggie parent letting me explore the pond safely. Sure, at some point I'm likely to get snatched up as a seagull's breakfast, but I'll enjoy the pond while I can. Thanks.
