when i‘m not writing slow and intentional (ie note-taking, journaling) i write as a mix of cursive and print. also when i write fast i do a lot of shortened versions of things - i.e. int’l, ex., +, and so on. also! i cannot write in a straight line on a blank surface + my handwriting is huge (this is not a college-ruled notebook lol) so i have a hard time filling out forms no matter what i try lol for a while i tried making my letters and numbers fancy but i gave up lol. my capital Ms are nice though and i loooove a cursive capital J, Z, or L… those have got to be my favorite letters in cursive. lowercase f is also great i can’t believe they aren’t teaching kids cursive anymore!!

i love the fast handwriting! and he’s, i’ll never get over cursive not being taught anymore… it’s genuinely a very good skill (that my future child will be learning no matter what)

I love writing in cursive so much. I love seeing other people’s cursive handwriting. I think I learn a lot about a person from their handwriting, no judgment, and doesn’t matter if it’s sloppy or whatever…. Cursive feels like art. It’s emotional. It’s underrated. I want to see more people writing in cursive.

i used to write my full name in cursive and just exaggeration the capital letters, loop back to the t to cross it. it took too much time so i just started doing the first capital, then zig zags to resemble the letters and a big loop for the t. now it’s just the K, a wave and a loop back

being traditionally cool is really quite boring and iterative, and it’s actually very cool and sexy to geek out about something you like or share bits of knowledge on a topic you’re passionate about

i had it for a little over a year until i was like wow this is actually terrible! i genuinely think it has negatively impacted society by ruining people’s attention spans, having a horrific algorithm, and most of all by the most mind-numbing or outright harmful trends - fake words that people now use IRL (“unalive”), trad wife tiktok, shein hauls, body-focused fitness vids that encourage fatphobia and unhealthy habits, shallow political/feminist theory and queer discourse, “alpha male” podcaster tiktok, encouraging overconsumption in general, trends ruining local spots or niche things… the list goes on
