both platonic and romantic. it feels very grown up giving someone a kissy on the cheek when saying hello. it feels very warm giving someone a smooch on the forehead bc you love them. idk i’ve been really into the word and concept lately.

The term “smooch”

Kissing is the best, kissing someone cute and that you like makes time stop and then “whoa! two hours went by!” It’s sharing, it’s collaboration, it’s expression, it’s art. To call it smooching adds a playfulness, almost like onomatopoeia right? Another layer of intellectualism in times of intimacy, what everyone wants right?

Saying when you dont get it

My friend just texted me that she didn’t get the virgin suicides after she watched. Not in like a “I’m too normie youre a freak for liking it” way but just in a “I’m being honest I wished I got it but I don’t.” Same for me about James Joyce, particularly Ulysses. I don’t get it! It opens up a conversation and reminds you that we all have different brains. I love being honest!
