This album really changed my life when I heard it. It was at the exact right point in my life where I wanted to romanticize being sad and lonely and I wanted to Yearn!
Musically, this album has impacted me more than I realized. I was going through some old song ideas on my computer today and nearly all of them had blips and clicks panned hard left and right along with guitar and nursery rhyme melodies.
A very special record to me that I encourage you to revisit or check out for the first time love you so much seriously my page is the best I love my fans!!!

The album "Waiting to spill", by The Backseat Lovers, has been a really huge pillar for me recently. Im really grateful to have found this album, because it really helped me -- and is still helping me-- process through the many changes and transitions I faced coming into the New Year.
The simplicity and vulnerability present in this album is so loud and passionate, I couldn't help but relate to every chord and note (even the absence of each chord and note).
For anyone unfamiliar with The Backseat Lovers: If you are looking for an authentic band/album that is rich with love and bittersweetness, I recommend this heavily!
For anyone familiar: I recommend revisiting as well!
hopefully it will guide you in the same way it has guided me.

i first heard this album shortly after getting broken up with by my first love. i wasn’t sleeping nor eating right. the somber tones, the dreamlike instrumentals, the cozy vocals, all really did this album in for me, especially as it’s about the trials and tribulations of heartache (loosely).
now, obviously, i just associate the album with the fall season and the leaves turning different colors. the darkness makes me only listen to this record in the second half of the year, but that doesn’t mean it’s not an all-time favorite for me

Hospital Bracelet is Midwest emo, kinda angry, less romantic yearning. More like yearning for better things.
wished bone is ethereal. I had super intense fever dreams to this album one time. pollinate me and spring time lover still have the power to stop me dead in my tracks.
Medium Build just gets it. I listened to this album for the first time on a road trip to see the eclipse this last year and my partner was asleep in my lap. It made me tear up. Love love love

There’s a real sense of catharsis in this song. Peter has said it’s about letting go and you can feel that. It is so confident but still feels personal and it’s just a damn tune. Also it’s in 7/4 if you care about that kind of thing

My dad loved horror movies - not many actually Scared him. After seeing this in theaters he told me he had to turn on all the lights when he got home.
I just saw it for the first time and while I loved it I wouldn’t say this is a Scary Movie. It’s more so a story about ghosts that almost feels like a gothic fairytale.
Nicole Kidman is insanely good in it. The way she can lose her grip on reality while still maintaining her humanity is heartbreaking.
SO, highly recommend watching especially on a foggy/stormy night. And make sure to lock that door behind you thx love u so much xoxo4evr
