I‘ve started habitually putting my chapstick and a lighter in my little pocket. I also put my multivitamin in there if I haven’t eaten yet and am going to be out. In a bigger pocket, these things just shift around and leave a bump, but not the tiny one—it is secure.
Keep all my everyday carries in an altoid tin decorated with random stickers I have come across throughout life. this includes my id, credit card, lighter, and chapstick.
One of my go-to bits is when a friend says something like “Should we get shots?” I’ll respond with a shrug and say “Hey, it is a Tuesday!” in an enthusiastic/neutral tone as though that means something in particular but it never does.
