I collect Bratz! I wasn’t allowed to play with the actual dolls as a child. So, I would go through department store catalogs and copy their outfits and styles onto paper dolls. Now I own the actual dolls I drew as a child! This definitely won’t be the last post I make about them.

I have too much respect for the art of Bratz collecting to pretend like these dolls aren't meant to be played with. They were (and are) mass-produced so keeping them in their box only supports scalper culture and hurts you. THAT BEING SAID, when I get a new Bratz doll (esp one with lots of fun lil accessories), I keep her in the box for a rainy day. It's hard to be sad while unboxing a new lil fashion doll. I'm a 30-year-old woman, and I'll open my toys whenever I goddamn please.

When I was a child, I was upset with the Ken that I used to have, I don't know why, but because of that, I would have my barbies be lesbians. According to my mother, I always had a difficulty playing with my toys and would put them in shelves as if they were collectibles but I do remember making them scissor here an there 😭

My partner and I have been collecting Tupperware together for a dopamine hit. He’s a longtime Tupperware admirer, I’ve just recently come aboard. We’re both devastated by the company’s recent bankruptcy and have been scurrying around op shops looking for good quality pieces. We’re both incredibly taken by Tupperware’s Expressions series.
