Cannock Chase - labi siffre

labi siffre is definitely most known in recent years for “my song” which became the main sample found in kanye west’s “i wonder” ive been listening to a bit more of his catalog and its fantastic. this album is a great starting place, and “cannock chase” is a blissful and simple singer/songwriter song that’s proven to be easy to listen to no matter how my day is going

a single man (film)

This was perfect on all levels, dialogues and especially the monologues I can't even begin to describe how emotionally invested I was while watching, cried 5 times. I haven't seen Nocturnal Animals but I have to watch it next to see this kind of cinematography from Tom Ford again. The changes in saturation were timed in such a way that you just felt the scenes. Sad gays, the best genre of people ngl.

French films

I really enjoyed Jacques Audiards A Prophet, which is about life in prison also Claire Denis' Beau Travail it was probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing movies I've seen and I highly recommend Lukas Dhonts Close, I can't even describe how devastating this film was, it's a Belgian film but they speak french so I'd say it counts, it's a must watch imoo.
