This is an update from another post, asking what I should give a friend of mine for her birthday. Safe to say, I've found what to do!
Firstly, I DIYed a gift box for her- which I've done multiple times in the past. And the box looks perfect. I added some really pretty jewelry for her from OakSeason and some of her favorite candy.
Most of all, I've created a bookmark for her. She loves Lana Del Rey, so I made it sort of that kind of theme. I'm so happy with how everything turned out.
We went to a restaurant then the mall. It was so fun

A friend saw this on her recent CA trip β Landers is an amazing vintage store that also produces itβs own product. Illustrations are right up my alley. Itβs nice to be thought of + have someone find something I would actually use.

This is for your rich aunt, your designer bag friend, the boyfriend's parents in law you want to impress but don't know how. What money can't buy, the right brain can make.
This recipe calls for:
(1) thoughtful gift
(1) custom spin
For example: When my friend turned 20 she already had everything I could possibly give her. A drawer full of her favorite candles. A line up of expensive perfumes she stands by. Internet access and her parents' credit card.
What doesn't she have? My right brain. My ability to craft the perfect set of 10x12 drink posters with witty cocktail names and an easy-to-follow ingredient list. Each element was chock-full of inside jokes from my personal quote list of our most debaucherous nights.
Other ideas: a custom candle, a photobook of your favorite memories. My sister's go-to: hand-crocheted ornaments (Bonus points if it's mini figures of them or their pet).
Sure, these may take more time to craft than logging into Amazon and clicking through the "Gift Guide for Her" brochure. But if you're still on an hourly wage, think to yourself: Would you rather spend an hour on Canva or the equivalent of 4 hours of work for a coffee table book whose spine will never be cracked?

I follow a different religion, unable to celebrate Christmas. But I can't deny how amazing the Christmas vibes, colors, music, and literally everything else about it is absolutely magical. I don't think anyone would argue haha
Instead of celebrating Christmas, my family plays games, watch Christmas movies, watch the christmas lights, and have a Pajama party.
Last year I invited my friends for one and it was so fun. We painted and even watched the movie Frozen βοΈ (hoping to have another this year) <(ΛΆα΅α΅α΅ΛΆ)>

I have so many thoughts in my brain, and I usually just write down a few on my notes app. But I don't know why I haven't considered just recording a voice message for myself as I speak my mind!
I've always wanted to have a YouTube channel and maybe this is the first step. Not only that, but my speech will improve by a lot. I could talk about topics on my mind, details, my day in general, things I've learned recently, an imaginary conversation, and so much more.
