There’s an Italian place (technically Greek, but that’s every Italian place outside of the North End) in Worcester that my family has been going to for as long as I can remember, and despite not being a vegetarian, I always get the veggie sub (with extra banana peppers).
The rest of their food is probably medium shitty (in a good way!), but its full of nostalgia and unequivocally the best veggie sub I’ve ever had - an underrated sub sandwich

Nothing beats a perfect Italian sub. My favorite of all time was from Edgewood subs in cranston RI- unfortunately i think they sold the business. I used to live behind here years ago and I still dream about their perfect sandwiches. the shop gave off HUGE money laundering vibes and was always filled w old Italian men playing cards. It was a perfect place. Anyway, here is my lunch spread today

it’s not a secret that this spot has some of the best subs in the city. haven‘t been in years, but the sun in shining and it’s finally not arcticly frigid outside. so we decided to get in the long line and grab ourselves a 12” Italian sub, which we housed in the car.

A website with a collection of screengrabs from nearly every movie you could think of, and you can sort by film title, director, cinematographer, year, genre, country, etc. Great for visual references for lookbooks, or just to discover a new film you might be interested in seeing!

Just going out and picking up any kind of used physical media (books, CDs, DVDs, cassette tapes) makes the archivist in me happy, like I’m preserving somebody else’s story/ enjoyment of something
My personal favorite thing is VHS tapes, I’ve got a decent collection (all thrifted) and they’re usually the cheapest things offered

At my local indie cinema for a projection of the new Nosferatu, infinitely grateful I have a place like this I can go to see new stuff and incredible programming!
