In a solo jamming context I think time-based effects yield the most fun per pedal. With a setup like this you can build a world.

as a band we have a healthy collection of pedals, not as many as some but certainly an interesting selection. one of the most curious new ones we have is the Lossy by Chase Bliss. There are lots of degeneration pedals but this one specifically emulates shitty early digital/mp3/cdr/internet dying types of sounds. though based on past technology, it is an unsettling device as makes the sounds of our current, failing civilization's most recent problems: an over reliance on inherently bad communication methodologies and representations. it makes sounds that are bad for you but in a charming way. it reminds you that the end is high nigh but the pedal is bright pink so it will be a cutie pie, cartoonish kind of smashy smashy ending.

Impulse buy. This pedal is everything Iâve been looking for. Itâs three levels of floating in space, none of which give off unintentional scary tones. Canât stop playing with it.

I was getting off the train and this guy noticed my Van Halen sleeveless tee and was like âcool tank top dude I love Van Halen.â And I was like âthanks man.â And then he was like âdo you like Extreme?â (he was wearing a shirt from a band called Extreme). And I said âIâm not too familiar with their music.â And he was like âdude you gotta go listen to their new album, itâs SICK.â And I said âthanks for the rec manâ and we fist bumped and it was wholesome. Anyways I got home and listened to Extreme and it wasnât really my thing.
