Curate your feed with random things that you enjoy, interspersed with photos of yourself, just in case the people do forget what you look like. Make Instagram casual again, be a content curator above a content creator I guess.

great thing about this app

i see really cool/ funny/ smart people and 90% of the time they just follow me back straight away. it’s one of the joys of not having a big following — you can make more friends with strangers! i think the art of that is lost with influencer culture, because why would you follow a ‘fan’ back straight away (particularly when you have 50k plus of them?) also i’m a ‘rising user’ after posting like 6 times which gives me a huge ego boost. Small App is IN 🙌🙌

Following (on insta) someone who you saw on the subway

i asked to pet someone's cute dog on the subway and i got their dog insta. i still see what she likes and who she follows. i find it find it comforting to see we both follow hopeless romantic pages and poetry about situationships. it makes me feel the love from strangers a little more.
