A new version of an old song; an old song, “L’Amour Toujours” by Gigi D’Agostino, made slower and more lethargic by a teenage Lithuanian DJ. A song about dreams, about the things you’ve been waiting for, coming down to you, but only in your mind. A tale as old as time!In London in the Noughties I never went to Italo disco clubs. But my buddy Joel, a fantastic furniture designer, did. I’ve never seen napoleon dynamite but I assume that this is what it’s like but for weird girls who like guys in bands. The first 15/20 mins is slow and you might wanna give up but DON’T. The original song in it is so cute n catchy. I saw this for the first time in 2021 and I’ve rewatched it so many times. It’s on Hulu rn.
