You should try Needle, it’s a new app I discovered that’s kinda like social media but for music and I’ve gotten a ton of cool music recs on there :)
It also syncs up with Spotify so you can easily save music too!

How much new music and inspiration do you find on your favourite music apps? I got a bit bored with them, as Spotify keeps recommending the same "new" songs. It gets repetitive and I get a bit annoyed by it. So I was delighted when I stumbled across a TikTok video about the "Needle Music" app. It's basically Instagram, but based on music. You can share the songs you are currently listening to and discover new ones from other users. So instead of algorithm driven recommendations, it feels like a sneak peek into other people's playlists and is actually a more organic approach. so this is my current obsession & if you feel like you need a new twist to your music - definitely check it out. To end the post, I'll share a song that I'm enjoying at the moment :

Every time Spotify‘s algorithm hits a wall in terms of giving me new music, I use this site to look for new releases but I specifically look at artists who‘s music I haven’t heard before or if I’m feeling super experimental I’ll only look Into genres I've never heard of or barely know. I highly recommend this, it’s a fun way to discover new artists and music in general🤩

i lost him when he was 2, he was my first cat and my soul cat. i miss him everyday, especially in winter when he’d snuggle underneath the blankets w me 🥹

i’ve never really had anyone buy me flowers, and i always felt kinda sad about it. but omfg, buying yourself flowers (i know, v cheesy miley cyrus) is so much better. they just brighten up your space and make you feel so happy, and you can literally just buy them whenever you want.
these are from my local grocery store and there’s nothing i love more than wild african flowers (proteas and fynbos), i’m so happy whenever i see them.
