Soft melodies with a goth beat. A lot of sounds that tickle the brain, very moody and makes you feel like you are looking over a cliff at a stormy sea. vocals by Zoè Zanias and very similar vibe to Zanias 2016 EP “To the Core”. Zanias always has very potent and witchy lyrics :)

Fleshwater’s debut album, and one that has been in my head since I first discovered it a few months ago. Very soft-grunge, post-hardcore alternative rock/nu gaze. Very emo and a bit dream-like. Their songs sort of blend into one another in some really interesting ways, so it’s a great one to enjoy in one sitting if that’s how you enjoy listening, and it’s a relatively short album too. Some highlights for me are Linda Claire Enjoy, and Closet. Kiss the Ladder is great too.

A 10/10 perfect DEBUT album that is dark, raw, and has it's fair share of hot and sweaty Hozier will open your mind to undead love (Literally), toxic situationships, and escaping the Catholic Church. Self titled is for the lovers*, indie escapists, and existential dreaders out there, and I know you're out there, so why not lose your mind to something with deep lyrics instead of bad vocals? *If you choose to take Cherry Wine as a romantic song, I am not held liable to the bodily harm, biological warfare, or death that is caused by your actions.

sentiment by Claire Rousay album is a dreamy, yet haunting exploration of depression. The first track of the album ‘4pm‘ hot me hard. If you’re inclined towards getting depressed that feeling of bed rotting and failing to see the point of taking your next breath is quite painful to hear but I’m glad someone has said the quiet part allowed. Enjoyed guest vocals from Hand Habit as well. This album is melancholic without sounding self pitying. I enjoyed the hum and atmosphere Rousay has created. Can’t wait to se ever live in a few weeks in London. 8/10

“TRASH NIGHT is a monthly film series concerned with VHS hell and forgotten-media bricolage.” I started following Trash Night in high school and honestly it’s one of my favourite YouTube channels to revisit every now and then. Now they have a monthly cyber stream on twitch (trashnightvideo) of a ton of found media oddities that are so funny and interesting to watch :-) and also the edits are supreme

Severely underrated artist. “incandescent“ and “the great view“ take you right back to 2010, and make you want to run through the city with nowhere to go. The influence of these sounds on contemporary music is palpable. Very chiptune inspired sound but also it goes heavy 🤘 favourite tracks: The Cleansing Kaleidoscope Weekend All In my Head This Winter is Almost Over
