Iโm also grateful for the record of my (inner) life that those journals provide. I rarely go back to them and re-read, but maybe someday.
I am taking journalling seriously. It makes me feel cared for, pampered almost. Iโm taking my brain and wringing out all the thoughts onto a slab of paper. Itโs also beneficial to the folks around me so they donโt have to put up with as many rants. My thoughts need to be extruded one way or another, and journalling has the added benefit of existing as a document that can be reviewed later.
Been having lots of big emotions lately because of my personal life and my job. Between therapy sessions itโs hard to manage them so Iโve been journaling when I feel overwhelmed and it has been super helpful.
Generally speaking, I wanna reorganize the way I use the internet. I wanna participate and interact with people. I feel like on Instagram Iโve been worrying too much about the mystique I create for myself, like Iโm constantly advertising myself. It feels icky and Iโm ready to give it up.
