was about 2 in the morning, patrick and I were talking about how we hadn't had it in years. I told him I would get it sometimes as a kid, not too often, it always felt like a treat. so I opened up doordash and we just went for it. biscuits were the best part. chicken kinda got cold.

its two pieces of deep fried chicken with a hashbrown inbetween and cheese and sauce, its a special and its back in the uk now its really greasy and you will probably feel sick by the time you finish it but its delicious. I saw on an advert that 'the double down is back', the last time I had one was 7 years ago when me and my bestfriend at the time went to cardiff on a long weekend to stay at my aunties flat. My mum gave us Ā£50 pocket money in an envelope that we were only allowed to open on the train on the way there. We spent all of that money on going to KFC to get the double down, we got more than one a day. I don't talk to that friend anymore but i have really fond memories of that weekend. I told my bestfriend joobaloobs this tonight when I saw the ad and she suggested that we should walk to KFC right now and go and get one, and carry on the tradition 7 years later. (Historically, fast food adverts work very effectively on us.). We walked straight to byker kfc and got ourselves a double down meal each, it was bloody brilliant. I've been really sad recently but this little trip has turned my day around. love you kfc double down, love you joobs x

Tonight I ate at McDonaldā€™s for the first time in 20 years or so. I had my first McNuggets and they were good. Nice and crispy on the outside. Fries were underdone unfortunately. And the dreary grayscale interior of the restaurant was wholly unappetizing. Bring back red and yellow, ya dummies.

Iā€™ve been blown away by rewatching Family Guy Season 4. Itā€™s really impressive, but falls off hard about 10 episodes into Season 5. Thereā€™s a subversive and unpredictable quality to these episodes thatā€™s unlike any other show Iā€™ve seen. I had these all recorded on my TiVo as a child and would watch them over and over, so itā€™s part of a dangerous regressive pattern (see my earlier recommendation of ā€œchillingā€), but I think these are some of the most creative episodes of comedy television ever made. Theyā€™re bursting with energy and the pacing is mind boggling, joke after joke after joke. I had forgotten how smart the show used to be. In my head it was kind of a dumb show for middle schoolers and adults with tattoos who work at vape shops, but I was wrong, Iā€™ll admit it.

I never knew about chilling until I was 26 years old. Well, Iā€™d dabbled in chilling, but this year, after I decided to become a bohemian novelist whose primary goal in life isnā€™t to produce anything of value, but rather to trick people into reading a thing I wrote several years ago, chilling has become an essential part of my life. I particularly enjoy doing 1000 things in one day on Instagram, like this Druski video. Iā€™ve had a lot of days where Iā€™ve done 1000 things in one day. A couple weeks ago I went to all five boroughs of New York City in one day, and did activities in eachā€”but thatā€™s a story for a different time.
