Itās been discussed here and there on this platform through different recommendations before, BUT I feel that thereās an almost holy level of beauty to Sunday slow-start rituals that needs to be emphasized. Maybe you sleep in a little longer than during a harried work week, maybe you randomly wake up early and quietly steep yourself in the sunlight as it starts to filter into your favorite room in your space, perhaps a physical edition of a Sunday newspaper or periodical to thoughtfully consider (or even to just sort of stare at), slow-sipping that delicious caffeinated beverage you start each and every day with, some warm and cozy jazz or folk accenting the proceedings in the background (centering you spiritually). Treat yourself. Life can rule if you let it.

morning shower. scrumptious bagel (salmon and cream cheese). sit by the river. marinate in the sun. run errands (fun ones). stop by the cutest little deli with that one cat. buy their sourdough. go home. read/write/make music. meet friend(s) for dinner. doomscroll. sleep!

i donāt want to have a āthick skinā about everything, maybe we should all just be nicer to each other. when did we come up with the concept that being sensitive is bad? iām sensitive and i like it. the world doesnāt have to hit me and i just get back up, maybe i will cry a little bit.

i recently bought Lordes āPure Heroineā on cd and forgot how much i love the album. i was driving and watching the sky and pretending it was 2015 again, i had tumblr, wattpad, damaging my eyes by reading from a blue screen far too late while under blankets. i was reminded of being sad in a different way at a different age.
