If any of you guys do "surfing" of www and need to read your material on the go checkout amazon's email to kindle feature. You literally just email the pdf or ePub (actually pretty much all file types are supported) to an email you find in your amazon settings and then kindle will parse it in the app and it'll be just like any other kindle book. Check it out

You don’t need to buy every book you read! Go to the library, download an ebook, find a PDF, create a personal JSTOR account. You’ll be surprised how much out there is free for the taking :)

internet archive has a LOT of free ebooks/PDFs, especially public domain but also just lots of older things, even textbooks and picture books. amazing resource i would go thru any libraries you can access first (for ethical/support yr library reasons) - most libraries have a form or you can go to the front desk to request a book be added to the collections. this works for ebooks too! it’s not a guarantee, but sometimes they say yes if all else fails, you can also just google β€œ[book name] PDF” and if it’s an older or popular title it will probably be online lol. and if you have ibooks you can then export the pdf to ibooks
