read in four sittings (this is somewhat of a record for me) and came away feeling more inspired than ever (to create with intent and to be more like patti)
i read it my freshman year of high school and it rocked my world. since then i have passed my copy around so many friends and family and it’s been filled with so many annotations from its journey
she was ahead of her time and i stand by that. or maybe i was a prejudiced and close-minded music listener back then. either way, this album eats and i hope she plays party 4 u at the brooklyn show.
