I recently bought the third edition of comet by yamepii!! A cool designer/artist from Tokyo. The magazine I work for is also having their first print issue pretty soon so im stoked for that :)
i was buying an artist zine and the bookstore let me pick a free book. I saw this in the basket - I liked the magazine and their layout design but I don't know if they have any new issues. Always on the lookout for cool typography and fun layouts though, as part of my job/obsession with print!
is a japanese magazine about art, design and travel. i mostly read the photography articles and haven't had time to check out their other stuff, but those alone are really cool :) definitely worth a read if you're into japanese culture
it's a digital magazine (with 3 print editions) that is all about positive nature and climate stories! I love their socials and website and have had my eye on their print mags for a long time. Haven't bought them yet but I will be so soon (as soon as my paycheck hits lol)
I started working in person for a magazine called sabukaru in Tokyo as the head music writer!! It was so much fun to see old friends and checkout the southern parts of Japan. Nature is pretty neat.
It feels like I'm frolicking in a garden with her gentle voice bringing spring's bloom to the earth. Flowers sprouting; sun shining; and birds chirping; this project just puts me in a good mood while still scratching that shoegaze itch.
