Before I was fully WFH, I would always read on my train commute, but when that stopped, I stopped reading. I fell into a habit of watching tv and then sitting on my phone in bed until I passed out.
Then I decided to start reading before bed and I’d never go back — it’s less screen-stimulation right before I fall asleep, it calms my mind, and I get through so many more books. If you only make it one page before passing out, that’s ok! Now I’m excited to climb into bed 30-60 min before I want to be asleep so I can read my book. (The only downside I can think of is that sometimes it makes me want to stay up later to get through an exciting part in the book)
