3:1 gin and vermouth with olives and a twist. Ideally Hendricks, Aviator, or Monkey 47 with Dolin.

I’m a martini drinker, but especially dirty martinis. I love Hendricks, The Botanist, or even Roku for a martini. Basically anything but Tanqueray really, Bombay over Tanqueray any day. If you like other gin drinks, Empress gin is actually great in French 75s. I’m a huge gin fan obviously😂

saylor same! Empress is fun in a gnt too. I'm not a huge fan of dirties but don't mind them on occasion, I like them pretty herbal and citrus with just a bit of the brine at the end from the garnish

arljjas yes I love empress in a g&t too! Although if I’m going for more herbal/citrusy I’m definitely doing a g&t or dry martini, if I want something sweeter/lemony it’s the French 75, but dirty martinis are for when I want something savory and I love getting them with extra olives lol. At a restaurant in DC I went out with friends and their dirty martinis were so good I was craving them the next morning😂

All the pomp and circumstance of drinking a ‘tini, with a little less bite. 1.5oz of Gin, 1.5oz of Dry Vermouth, and a few dashes of Orange Bitters — stirred until ice cold and served in a (chilled!) glass with a twist of lemon or a few olives if that’s your thing. The only rule: never vodka - it doesn’t bring much to the party.

I write 100 words of fiction a day; it's usually the best part of my day (even if the writing is awful). It gets the dark gremlins out of my head for a bit. With how meaningless corporate jobs are, I need something creative.

The solution is the same as always: decentralized and build it small, local, redundant, and networks. That's what made the internet powerful in the first place, what made it good. Now, we can't even swap out our now phone batteries!
