If there's a refill store near you, stuff like that is perfect (for detergent, baking soda, cleaning products, etc.) Even if you don't use them, those places usually take glassware for other customers to use.
Everytime you toss something with tiny screws, keep em in a little bag. I used to lose tiny screws that I needed for various things and this has saved my ass so many times. your eyeglasses will thank you
