a really interesting format. this books consists of chapter titled with an address, the story in the chapter involves a character and their link to this address, most of the characters from one chapter feature or are linked to characters in other chapters, all chapters feature who is a gay man living in london (or nearby) and is set in a time period in the near-past
each chapter is its own beautiful story with interesting characters and a message to take away

i really enjoyed this book. i want to read more historical books centred around queer characters, and more queer the great gatsby retellings. it's been a while since i've read a book this quickly and i really enjoyed that feeling of wanting to just devour this story
i wish there had been a little more showcasing of their romance at the end
