The superstition is this: on the first day of the month, one is supposed to say āRabbit, rabbitā to ensure a month of good luck. I adore this superstition, like making a circle of protective salt around you for the entire 28, 30, or 31 days of a month. in theory, itās supposed to be the first words you utter on that 1st day, but I make my life easier by just making sure I say it at some point during the day. I love superstitions, but I like also throwing in a bit of my own luck in there. So say ārabbit, rabbit,ā why donāt ya? Iāll say it several extra times in honor of those who read this a little later on.
