The brobecks have only one album on Spotify, Violent Things, and it’s just the best album ever
the singer and songwriter of that album moved on to be the bassist for panic! At the disco and now has a band called I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME, which is also incredible, but nothing beats the brobecks.
another top tier album is Let live and Let ghosts by Jukebox the Ghost, and it’s just so so so good.

in 2019 I got a CD of their album cranberry from my college radio station and i played it in my old Subaru for years.
their music has been soundtracking my summers, breakups, moving states etc
i think they're one of the best bands around, they were amazing live and keep blessing us with great music<3

I recently discovers this band through hearing a clip of Sex & The Millenium Bridge and then listening to it on repeat for days. They released an album today and it’s so good.

omg you haven’t seen that film? you haven’t heard that music? you haven’t read that book? THAT’S NORMAL!!!! i feel like there is so much social pressure to consume whatever media makes you niche and unique and cultured and i’m OVER IT. it’s normal to have not seen every cool movie or show on the planet or heard every album to ever exist. consuming media is something that should be enjoyable and happen gradually over time, not something you force to meet arbitrary cool person standards. i’m so done with feel a social obligation to consume certain things. i’ll get to it when i get to it! let me have my taste, im okay with not knowing everything!
