Today I had to buy one thing but every cash register was full. I had to buy it in cash so I couldn't do self check-out. It would've taken ages if not for the fact that, on the app of the establishment, you can take a turn for one of their cash registers. That's the only one that accepts turns. Usually when the cashier asks the customers for their turn, people don't know how to take a turn on the app, hell, they don't even know there's an app in the first place. They typically give up and the cashier can't accept them, so you take their spot while they go somewhere else. It's the best thing that's ever happened to me and more establishments should do this. It would even have a better spatial distribution for the customers and lines would be quicker ๐โโ๏ธ.
