i put off so many things i want/need to do and cleaning my room has been one of them. i fully swept (like moving furniture around n stuff), wiped down my bedside table and dresser, cleaned my windowsill, and even set up a diffuser. kandi bracelets and spare keychain materials in the teapot i thrifted, can tab collection in an empty pill container, mini-fridge magnets straightened out so they stop falling. everything feels so much more comfortable and pleasant, even if clutter is still piled up on my desk.

spent all day tidying up my room and going through my closet and craft cart. filled up several bags of stuff i’m not using to sell/donate/post on Buy Nothing. i also reorganized my desk drawer to make it more conducive to letter writing instead of being glorified cable storage. i love figuring out the best layout to reduce annoyance and put the stuff i (want to) use most at my fingertips. now i can see my floor again and i’m filled with peaceful anticipation of all the little crafts i hope to putter around with this year. next task: decluttering my computer desktop 🥴

for ages i'd been terrified to do anything out of the ordinary with my appearance - middle school is a rough experience for everyone, i think, and i got the REALLY short end of the stick. but people mature, slowly start to care less about how others choose to express themselves, start to treat others as real people. and now i have friends that love my neon, glow-under-uv-light, radioactive, eye-burningly green hair ^_^ and i love it too !

first of all, thank you for asking this - i've been patiently waiting for something about poetry to cross my feed!! bukowski has had a great influence on my writing and this is one that particularly sticks with me (it gets stuck in my head sometimes after i revisit it). i hope you enjoy it! and it's also okay if it's not your style! !!!!

i have been coding for the past 3ish(?) hours trying to get my textboxes to align on a page the way i was imagining it. it was the most tedious thing i'd ever done - back and fourth, running the code and then checking the css file to see where i could fix stuff, trial and error and trial again. i'm surprised i didn't give up, but my brain wasn't gonna let me do anything else until i fixed it. and so i did. i adore web design because it's one of the most gratifying hobbies i've picked up - it's so easy to want to bash your head into the wall after the 43rd try, but it's fulfilling and so rewarding when you finally get it right.
