my boyfriend got me to watch this show with him, (shout out to my friends for their peacock account) and it’s definitely become a needed source of comfort for me
i’m also in the middle of watching adventure time all the way through and restarted new girl (one of my favorites of all time)

i recently just finished Sex and the City so... trying to fill the void with this and also rewatching New Girl <3
rllyyyy tried to get on the Severance train but emotionally i think i need something a bit happier right now

My friend and I watch SATC and High Fidelity (2020) whenever we want to feel better about our romantic (and just general life choices).
If you like the world of Gilmore Girls, Freaks and Geeks is so comfortable to sit in. The characters feel like how real high schoolers (I dated a guy in high school a lot like Nick from this show and we all have, I think). The costuming and soundtrack is great, the midwestern vibes are comforting, and the acting is surprisingly raw and realistic for being a comedy series. Martin Starr has genius comedic timing.
Dollface is kind of a hidden gem! Kat Dennings is a gemini queen and she creates a really lush and intricate imaginary world in this show.
Community is perfect for pop culture nerds- the first season is like a lot of sitcom shows in that it takes a bit for them to hit their stride and find their audience. It does not use the mockumentary style like Parks & Rec and The Office, which gives the show more permission to be weird and far-away from reality.

incredible performances from the entire cast. atticus ross and trent reznor never miss and this was one of their most fun soundtracks, which plays so well with the editing and cinematography and deserved an oscar for this one (they did the social network, queer, and se7en) seen it 4 times, would watch it a 5th!

recency bias since they’re celebrating the 10 year anniversary but i saw this incredible film for the first time early this year and two more times in IMAX this past weekend and i’d watch it again. iykyk
