I think there are a few songs here and there with voices in them but most his music is instrumental, and all of it is awesome. My favorite album of his is The Private World of Correspondence but he just put out a new one yesterday that is strongly contending. His best songs in my opinion are 013 and Reprise (On Air)

Itās so spectral. Like sound therapy background music. Give it a listen if youāre doodling, doing a Lot of laundry, reorganizing your bedroom, or maybe even trying to take a nap ā_(āā=)_ā And I love how he just loves what he loves and he wants to make stuff that means something to him. I don't know if this is a call for help, but I've been exclusively listening to one album for almost two months now. This masterpiece dropped in March, and I've clocked in about 300 listens, but who's counting? We are. Bonus rec, the boys and I have linked our Spotify accounts to last.fm to keep track of every song we listen to.Giveon has such a unique, well rounded, really deep voice. This is one of those albums where every song hits for me. Never thought I'd say this, but I think he may have even knocked Daniel Caesar off of my R&B artist throne.

I have a very strong desire for control over every aspect of my life and Iāve never been able to roll with things. Lately Iām trying to let go of this so I can participate in my āfriendshipsā, which I have really been neglecting in recent years. Today a friend texted and asked me to go to the farmers market with her. At first I felt scared (lol) and inclined to ignore the message but I decided instead I would agree to go, and within 5 minutes I was in her car with her. It was a total blur and I was anxious out of my mind but I felt very grateful to spend time with someone I love. Iām terrible at conversing but even just to stand beside her was nice. We hugged before parting ways. I am glad that I did this.

Absolutely the best book Iāve ever read but it took me, if Iām remembering correctly, over a month to get through. Itās so dense with material I had to reread things over and over to get everything being put together. It has an academic vibe, so if thatās not your thing, you probably wouldnāt enjoy. But god, I loved it.

The other album Iāve been super into the past few days :-D so gorgeous. Iād never heard of this band before and I still havenāt heard their other albums but I feel inclined to listen. They have a really nice sound and the vocalists are both (I think itās just two?) wonderfully talented. Some of the songs make me want to cry some of them make me want to dance
