I get very emotional recommending this because i donβt want to bring in fair weather fans and also as more people come i get on the jumbotron less, but you simply must start going to WNBA games. When the NY Liberty moved to Barclays in 2021, I started attending every single home game. It is the only place in the world i ever feel the full spectrum of emotions. These players are GOOD and many of them are DATING EACH OTHER which happens in no other sport at all basically!!!! Two years ago, 4 of the 5 starting players on Chicagoβs team were literally married to each other (two couples, not poly though i wouldnt rule that out as something that could happen in the future). The tickets are so cheap because people do not value the league enough and then also the league itself thinks that people who attend the games have to be entertained the whole entire time or else no one will come, so they have programming for every second of the game, including a dance team of people aged 50+. Itβs amazing and i cannot wait for next season.
