A few days ago I went to the Tate British Museum, and I saw the Ophelia painting in the flesh. Truly one of the most breathtaking paintings I have ever seen in my whole life. In high school, my AP Literature class read Hamlet, and I absolutely fell in love with it. It was so special to see her in person.

one of my favorite art pieces in existence. i recently found out that it is in an art museum just a short roadtrip away! i decided that i HAVE to go see it after spending years admiring it. the first time i saw it, it was in a book my mother got about rainbows found in art over the past however many centuries. something about it is enchanting.
