Feature reqs: -save draft when commenting/posting. For example: right now I want to come back to this draft so that I can play around in the app and report back more feature requests/bugs but I canā€™t. -ability to comment on a post without it being a recc -tap on titles to open a post, oftentimes i have to tap multiple times on the text body to open a post Bugs: -back arrow is laggy, I have to press it 3 or 4 times before it responds -generally the app is slow but it seems to be getting faster!

Whenever I send a comment (iPhone) the write comment screen stays up but itā€™s blank. Other things too make the app feel a bit slow sometimes, like when you tap on the comments icon it doesnā€™t always open. Also if you write too much in a rec/comment you have to tap at the top and then swipe to see the send button, itā€™d be nicer if we could just swipe up to get there. Additionally, I would love the ability to save drafts for recs Also on the membership screen it talks about the Google Playstore on ios, and I donā€™t think the purchase button works.

I just started using this app and, firstly, I love, it reminds me of tumblr days. But the app is still pretty glitchy when paging into different areas of the site. I also would say that the reply modal should close automatically when I post a reply rather than clearing the text fieldā€” currently it feels like my response wasnā€™t recorded because thereā€™s no proper confirmation feedback. I would also recommend interest categories or some other way to locate posts that align with my general interests in addition to an overall explore page. Love stumbling across random threads but I also donā€™t need to see 5 b2b threads about Japanese hentai (no shade). Alsoā€” Iā€™m a UX/UI designer so if yall need support with stuff like this for the app, hit my line! Portfolio in my bio :)

- (at least when replying to an ask) recs whitescreen and I canā€™t see what im typing (could be theme-related? doesnt occur when editing) - trying to open ā€œcategoriesā€ on search page crashes app - image uploads seem to be wonky / non-persistent at times? - whole app feels slow / laggy; accidentally posted the same rec like 6 times bc ā€œsubmit responseā€ ui flow was unresponsive, need to refresh ask to see my response under it, loading recs under an ask can take a lot of time / a couple of tries for them to load made sure to check I wasnā€™t behind a version or something, not sure if other people are hitting this as well but observed the above in the last ~24 hours

Not a native New Yorker but have lived here since 2011. Iā€™m an actor + antique lover. Here are my top reccs for newcomers (restaurants + thrifting only) lmk if you want more! šŸ”Restaurants with unique atmosphere + great food: 1. Freemanā€™s Alley - lower east side. Unmatched vibes. hidden at the end of an alley. Amazing roasted Brussels sprouts. great cocktails and wine selection. Dark and moody and cozy. 2. Tea & Sympathy - west village authentic spot for British high tea and pub fare. as tiny as a matchbox. Ridiculously charming. The staff are lovely. Thereā€™s a british import store next door. 3. Buvette - west village worth the hype. Incredible spot for brunch (or anytime meal). Unbelievably cute. 4. Lucali - Carroll gardens, Brooklyn possibly the best pizza in the city. Beyonce and Taylor swift apparently love it too if that helps sway you at all. No reservations, you need to line up by 4p to get a table. Otherwise order a pie to go for $40 and walk around the historic neighborhood eating your pizza and admiring the brownstones. 5. Sake Bar Decibel - east 9th street Hip underground sake joint with amazing food. Often crowded but the service is very quick. šŸ‘—For thrifting clothes: Manhattan: 1. Beaconā€™s Closet on 13th street (near the new school) 2.Housing Works on West 10th 3.Housing Works on 74th 4.Cobblestones on E 9th 5.East Village Vintage collection on east 12th 6. Crossroads Trading on 2nd ave Brooklyn 1. Beaconā€™s Closet on Guernsey (itā€™s MASSIVE) 2. Awoke vintage 3. Monk Vintage 4. Buffalo Exchange on Driggs 5. Unearth Vintage on Smith street 6.
