Reaching out to random high school classmates

Even if they weren't your main friend group in high school!! And even if you haven't seen each other in years!! Literally just got my hair cut by an old high school friend who I haven't seen in 3 years and it was the most joyful experience to sit and talk with a girl I grew up with and finally know her as a person (and not as some random character in school). You never know who you can build great friendships with until you get to know them for who they are now, rather than the kid they were in high school (Obviously don't reach out to the bigots or bullies from school if you don't want to; but the good people you remember sometimes? maybe say hello, I promise it won't kill you :))

I just had some convos with middle school friends and it’s crazy how much has changed but it feels really nice to just check in sometimes. Reminds me that everyone’s always around if you’re willing to take the first step

Therapy

I love every minute of every therapy session. They're basically professionals giving you space to discuss the pieces of shit in your life. BONUS: It's an unpopular opinion, but I do believe therapy is the best way to escape your toxic, deplorable, and inconsiderate family members.
