Just watched this for the first time and honestly loved it, had only played the classic arcade games before. It got pretty bad reviews when it came out but as far as I’m concerned those people can fuck off, what were you expecting here anyway. It’s like Road House in the way that yeah, it’s pretty damn corny and cheesy and some of the acting can be a little exaggerated, but in a good entertaining way. Just a really fun movie to watch. There are much worse ways to spend ~ 2 hrs.
