I took this picture on my favorite day of January, the 11th. There is still some light at 5, now, perhaps its gotten a little later, I keep meaning and then forgetting to pay attention. How excited I am for this year to continue unfolding.
i'd be lying if i said today (dst) i wasn't so happy with the clock change. now, i'm no fan of the unnecessary hassle... but i love sunlight!! today i was 21 and i cut up tomatoes and had so much fun, taking in this strange new sunlight as the daffodils wilted and i thought about last night, when we all went clubbing. yes to longer days!!
in my opinion a strong contender for the most beautiful place in the usa. it feels like home to me and i cannot wait to be there again. hope you can make it there someday :)
