The first of the random things in my room: the rope & tennis balls. Those words together sound like a funny metaphor for something. An explanation; the rope is a souvenir of sorts from a trip myself and a couple friends took - we had a shit ton of luggage and not enough car. So we bought rope and tied it to the roof of th vehicle. I was paranoid 98% of that 3 hour drive.
The Tennis balls don't have a fun story. I walk around and oddly find these often. I usually keep them. They judt occupy my mind when I'm bored. Good ol' throwing in the air.
I'm also really into the colours. Nice glow. The rope will probably come in handy again. In more ways than one lol

If you’re crafty or have any type of office supplies I use mine for paper clips, binder clips, tacks, sewing pins, buttons. You could use shorter/wider ones for storing jewelry since air tight containers are best from keeping pieces from tarnishing or getting a patina anyway (it’ll slow that from happening anyway). If you have cute or unique looking jars use them as bud vases for some flowers on bookshelves or a vanity. You could use them to collect things like sand/seashells/rocks from traveling and roadtrips. You could start a change jar to put all your change from things throughout the year in and add it up at the end of the year.

i've been moving a massive bag of friendship bracelet string from nightstand drawer to nightstand drawer for probably the last 10 years. i was feeling crafty so i started taking the string, cutting it to the lengths of a piece of paper, and making a picture out of the different colored string. big fun - highly recommend letting ur little fingers take control and do some arts & crafts

Feeling scared.
I’m scared of Whole Foods. I’m scared of claustrophobia and of wide open spaces. I’m scared of kneeling on the floor, scared of bleeding and of bruises. I’m scared of research and of door latches and locksmiths and their drills. I’m scared of all the days of the week except for Thursday. At least I used to be before Thursday came and smiled and showed me her claws too. I’m scared of islands and of mountains and of soft sand beaches. I’m scared of trails and of highways and homesteads and high rises. I’m scared of plastic and of metal and shoepolish and crayola tempura paint. I’m scared of sugar and of lemons and plates that spark in the microwave. We used to eat off of Elvis’s face, serve salad on The Kiss, used to kiss on the couch but I’m scared of that too now. I’m scared of factories and farms, greenhouses and your little fire escape. Scared of pencils and switchblades and feather boas, feather dusters. I never knew I was allergic to dust until a week ago when they took my blood and spun it twelve times fast.
