In 2025 I encourage more people to do a letterboxd challenge. They are incredibly fun to put together and are a great way to discover new movies. I'm doing The Japanuary Challenge this month. For the rest of the year, I'm doing The Queer Film Challenge and The Criterion Challenge.

Paris Is Burning immortalises and preserves the legacy and the stories of the people featured in this film along with the spaces, community and families they created for themselves in a society that consistently marginalised and discriminated against them.

i watched hamilton this week for the first time after hating on it for years (for no reason) and i literally cannot get this musical out of my head. i have watched it twice this week and cried both times. how can i move on from ‘who lives, who dies, who tells your story’?????
