those mutuals who you’ve known for years and never talk to but are still influenced by and cool with. one of my moots is super (duper) into rym and i’ve found so much cool music from him even though we haven’t spoken in a year or more. i love knowing cool people and learning and discovering from them just by their activity. the moral of the story is post the stuff you like, make friends, and you don’t need to prove yourself as long as what you are doing is authentic.
