I was introduced today. What a delightful way to spend an evening. Passing the cue around and cheering each other is so intimate. Add a couple pints and it's gorgeous (I also just really love my friends)
I call this the giggles. Just perfect for a cute early evening catch up w college friends at a cozy bar during the cold where u make plans for a spring break and basking in the sunlight. A Gimlet feels like a little taste of that joy
i love to be with my pals and experience the phases of the eveningโ dinner, sweet treat, dancing, pizza, chatting, video games, about to crash. it feels so wonderful to experience the whole gambit and then part ways.
Literally every meal is made better by the addition of an egg. Rice? Stir fry an egg in. Sandwich? Fried egg. Any breakfast food? Scramble one on the side. Life is better with eggs ๐
Any reason to go to the pub really! But I love the camaraderie of all doing a quiz together:
- coming up with a silly team name
- being rowdy and bantering with the quizmaster
- that feeling when you got a question right that you weren't sure about
- always an excuse to get another pint
- when a round is announced and you know that someone on your team is about to nail it
- winning (naturally)
It's just extremely fun
