Thereās been multiple reports of AI taking up lots of energy to generate things and we donāt need more energy being wasted to produce a soulless, computer generated piece of AI art (Idk how others feel about AI art but whenever I look at it I feel sick and my heart sinks because it just feels so empty) so thatās one thing. Another issue is all these horrific deepfake scandals, to an incident that happened to at least 1 girl at the high school I went to (Iām not gonna say their names or anything because theyāve already been through so much shit) to South Koreaās recent crackdown on deepfake p0rn which revealed just how rampant it was throughout the country (and I just know shit like this is happening worldwide itās not just their country). Thereās also social media manipulation, biases in AI (only 100/7,000 of this worldās languages being used in chatbot training which only contributes further to languages being endangered), the very real threat of AI to be used to create more inequality, etc. While it looks like generative AI is flopping in some areas now (thank god) Iām still very concerned about it

Sometimes I recommend being a hater. Iām not here to talk about the numerous quality uses of AI, how often it is actually used nor am I here to critique AI without strawmanning it. I donāt care if I strawman an account of AI because I genuinely despise the way most people use AI. I think AI generated images are ugly. I think that AI cannot hold a half decent conversation. Iām completely avoidant when it comes to showing AI my writing; Iāve never done it and I refuse to. I hate when you go to that one poetry website and there is AI āanalysisā there, because its not real textual analysis and it upholds a certain contextualised intentionalist framework of reading a text reinforced in high school English. I hate that the meta AI will influence what products will be advertised to you. I donāt care if itās the future. I genuinely love being called a dinosaur because I hate AI.

I was looking at upcoming shows at a local venue to go out to w my gf & i thought to buy the tickets online in advance. Well why would i do that if ticket fees add $10 more dollars to the grand total And im only saving $4 on the original ticket price.
i get that there is a ~chance ~ thetickets could sell out
And i get that the ticketing system i s through a third partyā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦. I just wishā¦.. i just wish that was factored into the ticket priceā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦
So i will get a ticket at the doorlike an old person. Or it will be sold out

I love that this app is kinda glitchy with the space bar and the caps like if i hit return a couple times And start typing again itll keep the caps Or if i hit return and go back 1
itll be lower case. and sometimes it doesnt even capitalize
