pls shoveling is so fun and organized! what a structured activity for a snowy day! can’t stay inside all day and look through the window! sure it’s involuntary but once i’m out there i’m having a blast!
feels nice to actually have snow and remember that snow still exists and that the world is beautiful
and shovel the driveway with all your heart and feel helpful and collapse in ur room and smile thinking about how pretty it is outside and glad that the snow is still fluffy and isn't slush (yet)
Oh I fucking hate this god damn activity every single year I dread having to move 700 tons of snow out of my driveway.
I also love the serenity of being outside, hearing the snow crackle as the errant snowflake floats from a tree branch to join its congregation. The rhythm of shovel-heave-breathe. The biting honesty of the cold.
