i rarely if ever receive handmade gifts but man do i love making them!!! i have a yearly gift giving session w my bf and i always make him at least one or two presents, last year i made him a mixtape on cd and snuck in a recording of me playing and singing, and this year i'm gonna be making him a little diy cookbook since he started living alone and struggling w making food :) i'll probably throw in homemade dessert too. being a creative is a gift

i recently discovered i love gift giving. also discovered i love personalizing gifts even more. i sat in the park and painted this for my friend who is having a house colding party (heโs utilizing the rooftop one last time). this was completely free hand and so fun to make. i have a letter making kit i antiqued and i taped one inside. this truly is how i love, through creativity! iโve never had anyone make a gift for me but i would love nothing more.

Making your friends or family a homemade gift will take the cake every time. I painted my dad a mug with a map of all his favourite hills on it and the man ate it upppp. My friend drew me a picture of a vase with my favourite flowers in it and I get all warm and fuzzy when I look at it.
People love when you take the time to know them and show that you know them.
it feels good to know that people remember what you like and what youโd appreciate
