I generally don’t spend a lot of money on shoes. I wear checkered vans like 90% because they are easy to throw on. I generally wear them until they are falling apart. But the winters can get cold and snowy so I needed a beefy shoe that would last me for a while. This winter I finally purchased some heavy duty blundstone boots and they are so worth it.
I am going to wear them to the ground and I love that it will be years before I have to retire them

just sooo good. so comfy so stylish so PRACTICAL! i've done two 5 night hikes in my non-hiking blunnies and have had 0 blisters VERY minimal wet feet (user error: stepped in a bog) not even to mention constant and brutal everyday wear since i got them and they are good as new! no shredded plastic inside and no cracking across the toe (i'm looking at you d*c m*rtens 🤬)

These boots are the best aaaaand did you know they have a warranty? I was able to get a new replacement pair for free after i wore my boots out from 5 years of use. Makes the price point way more worth it!
New boots that i quickly broke in with a 2 week trip in Northern Europe. Slush= amazing for breaking boots in 🥲

I know they’re painfully millennial but they’re good, reliable boots. I have had mine for 6 years and can probably get another year out of them. They’re comfortable, nonslip enough for most work, and you can get CSA ones if you need as well. Unfortunately they cannot be resoled but I have generally found them to be very durable.

This movie is my favorite movie of all time. literally nothing else comes close to this. its sad and happy, i have seen it a million times and yet i always walk away feeling better about the world
It’s a movie that reminds you to cherish life and the small moments. the soundtrack alone is something to watch the movie for but you stay for everything else. I don’t know how else to describe how absolutely amazing this movie is
